We are excited to invite applications for our 3-month Mass Media Communication Internship program, designed for students and aspiring media professionals from all institutes across India. This immersive experience offers hands-on training in both field reporting and studio production at our two vibrant community FM radio stations.

Background in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related fields preferred

π οΈ Internship Structure
1. Field Work (Community Engagement & Reporting)
Interns will actively participate in grassroots media activities, including:
Community Interaction: Engaging with local communities to understand their issues, stories, and perspectives
Content Gathering: Conducting interviews, collecting audio clips, and documenting local events
Story Development: Crafting compelling narratives based on field experiences
Mobile Reporting: Using portable recording equipment to capture real-time stories
Social Impact Coverage: Highlighting local initiatives, government schemes, and cultural events
This phase is designed to build empathy, journalistic integrity, and storytelling skills rooted in real-world experiences.
2. Studio Work (Production & Broadcasting)
Interns will receive hands-on training in:
Script Writing & Editing: Developing radio scripts for news, features, and entertainment
Voice Training: Practicing modulation, clarity, and delivery for on-air presentation
Audio Editing: Using software tools to edit and mix recordings
Live Broadcasting: Participating in live shows, panel discussions, and community bulletins
Program Scheduling: Assisting in planning and organizing daily radio content
This phase focuses on technical proficiency, creative production, and professional broadcasting standards.
